How to Integrate me&u with Spotipo Guest WiFi

me&u (formerly Mr. Yum) is a hospitality platform combining QR ordering, payments, and customer engagement, widely used across Australia and New Zealand. Integrating Spotipo's guest WiFi data with me&u creates a unified customer database, automatically syncing WiFi guests to your me&u marketing lists for targeted campaigns, loyalty programs, and personalized communications based on both ordering and WiFi behavior.

This guide walks you through connecting me&u to Spotipo via OAuth authorization, configuring consent-based filtering, and setting up automatic guest data synchronization. The integration takes approximately 5 minutes and is ideal for restaurants, cafes, and hospitality venues using me&u for QR ordering.

What you'll accomplish:

  • Connect Spotipo to your me&u account via OAuth authorization

What you'll need:

  • Active me&u account with admin access

  • Spotipo account with guest WiFi configured

  • me&u audience list created for WiFi guests

Configuring automatic data export to me&u

Go to the location you want to configure data export for by clicking on the drop-down menu in the bottom left corner (just click on the name of your site).

Once in the location, go to Integrations by clicking Settings->Integrations

On the next screen, press Procced To me&u button. You will be redirected to me&u, please login with your credentials.

Authorize Spotipo To Access your me&u Account

In the next screen, you will be presented with a screen like below, login to your me&u account to finish setting up the Integration.

After you log in, allow the following:

Once that is done, you will be redirected to Spotipo, where you can finish setting things up.

Export consented guests

In the account settings, you can choose whether you'd like to export all guests, or only the ones that have given you consent to do so on the captive portal login page.

Additional Field Mapping

By default, Spotipo syncs the Name and email of a Guest with me&u. If you want to customize the fields, check out Field Mapping.

me&u Integration Active

Once you've authorized Spotipo and configured export settings, guests connecting to your WiFi are automatically added to me&u as contacts. You can now create email campaigns, loyalty programs, and promotional offers targeting WiFi visitors, combined with their QR ordering history for highly personalized marketing.

  • Test integration by connecting a device and verifying the subscriber appears in me&u
