Campaign Monitor is an email marketing platform allowing marketers to control their email program.
This guide walks you through connecting Campaign Monitor to Spotipo using your API key and List ID. Once configured, guest data flows automatically from your captive portal to your email marketing platform.
What you'll accomplish:
Retrieve your Campaign Monitor API key
Find your Campaign Monitor List ID
Connect Campaign Monitor to Spotipo
Enable automatic guest data export to your email list
What you'll need:
Active Campaign Monitor account with API access
Spotipo account with guest WiFi configured
Campaign Monitor list created for WiFi guests
Find out your API key from Campaign Monitor.
Log in to your Campaign Monitor and navigate to Account Settings -> API Keys
Your API is available in the next screen.
Find out the List ID
Click on Lists & Subscribers and then click on the List you want to use.
On the left tab click on Settings.
Scroll all the way to bottom on the next page to find the List ID
Enable Campaign Monitor In Spotipo
Navigate to Settings -> Integrations and click Connect next to the Campaign Monitor tile.
In the next page, fill in the List ID and API key from last 2 steps.
Enable Export Consented Guests only, if you want to export only the Guests who have given consent. Please enable this only if you have enabled asking for consent]
Campaign Monitor Integration Is Active
Once you've entered your API key and List ID, guests connecting to your WiFi are automatically added to your Campaign Monitor list. You can now create email campaigns targeting WiFi visitors.

Test the integration by connecting a device and verifying the contact appears in Campaign Monitor
Create welcome email campaigns for new WiFi subscribers
Segment lists based on location if managing multiple Spotipo sites
Consent-based export: Enable "Export Consented Guests only" if you've added consent checkboxes to your splash page and want to sync only guests who explicitly opt in to marketing communications.
