Zonal is a Property Management System (PMS) widely used in the hospitality industry, particularly by hotels and restaurants. Integrating Spotipo's guest WiFi data with Zonal creates a seamless flow of customer information from your WiFi network to your PMS, enabling unified guest profiles, automated marketing campaigns, and enhanced customer relationship management.

This guide explains what you need to integrate Zonal with Spotipo and how to obtain the required connection details from your Zonal account manager. Because Zonal is a closed platform, the integration requires coordination with Zonal's support team.

What you'll accomplish:

  • Connect Spotipo guest WiFi data to your Zonal PMS

  • Enable automatic guest profile synchronization

  • Set up API credentials for secure data transfer

  • Configure optional tagging for guest segmentation

What you'll need:

  • Active Zonal PMS account

  • Zonal account manager contact (integration requires their assistance)

  • Active Spotipo account with guest WiFi configured

  • Zonal API endpoint and credentials (provided by Zonal)

Important: Zonal is a closed platform that requires coordination with their account managers to enable third-party integrations. You cannot complete this integration without Zonal's assistance in providing API credentials.

Zonal is a PMS mainly used by hotels. Spotipo supports native integration with the platform, and in this article, we'll show you how to connect the two.

Requirements

To connect Zonal with Spotipo, you'll need some connection details. These will usually be generated by your Zonal Account manager.

Spotipo requires you the following details:

  • Zonal API endpoint

  • Relationship

  • Source

  • Tags to set (optional)

You will also need to set your Zonal credentials into Spotipo to complete the integration.

Zonal Integration Setup Complete

Once your Zonal account manager provides the API endpoint, relationship, source, and credentials, and you've entered them into Spotipo, guest WiFi data will automatically sync to your Zonal PMS. This enables unified guest profiles across your hospitality systems.

What to do next:

  • Contact your Zonal account manager to request API credentials

  • Test integration by connecting a guest device and verifying data appears in Zonal

  • Configure optional tags for guest segmentation in Zonal

  • Set up automated workflows in Zonal using WiFi guest data

Required information from Zonal:

  • Zonal API endpoint: URL for API connection

  • Relationship: Defines data relationship structure

  • Source: Identifies Spotipo as data source

  • Tags: Optional guest segmentation labels

  • Credentials: Username and password for API authentication
