Cloudbeds is an industry leading PMS for hotels. Connecting Cloudbeds with Spotipo allows you to offer a branded and easy to use WiFi login experience for your Guests.
To get started with the integration, login to your cloudbeds account and register an integration app.
Click on the Accounts icon on top right corner and navigate to Apps & Marketplace
Under the API Credentials tab, press the New Credentials button
Give the API integration a name, choose the type as "Guest WiFi" and under Redirect URI use https://localhost
Press Save, and a pop-up with Client credentials will open. You can just close it for now.
Now press Create under the API Key column
Choose Read scopes for Room, Reservation and Guest and press Create.
You would be send to a new page which ask you to pick a location, here choose the location you want to use Spotipo with and allow Access.
Remember to store the API Key generated somewhere. It will be shown only once.
The next step is to get the property ID. For that, go to the Reservations tab for the property you want to enable Spotipo with.
The URL would look something like https://hotels.cloudbeds.com/connect/XXXXX#/
where XXXXX would be a number, that would be the property ID.
Now, log in to your Spotipo account and navigate to Splashpage -> Settings. Enable the PMS login.
Under Settings -> PMS Login, add the API Key and the property ID you have just copied.
You should get a status like this once the connection is completed.
Now Guests will be able to login and connect to WiFi using their Room number and Lastname in the booking.
