Customizing the emails sent to guests ensures your communication maintains consistent branding and provides clear information about their purchase. Spotipo allows you to edit both invoice emails and account management emails to match your business identity and communication style.

This guide walks you through accessing and customizing email templates in Spotipo's Control Panel. You can modify invoice emails sent after successful purchases and account emails that provide guests with information about managing their WiFi access.

What you'll accomplish:

  • Access email template customization in the Control Panel

  • Edit invoice emails sent after successful WiFi package purchases

  • Customize account emails with information about managing guest access

  • Maintain consistent branding across all customer communications

What you'll need:

  • Active Spotipo account with admin access

  • Clear understanding of your brand voice and messaging

  • Email content prepared for invoice and account communications

Important note:

Currently, we support only account-level customization, ie, you won't be able to have unique email templates for sites if you have more than one site. However, we are planning to add this in the future.

Navigate to the Account Settings if you are not there already by clicking on the Desktop icon button in the bottom left corner.

Navigate to Email Templates

Here you can customize 3 emails,

  • Client Invite Email: Invite sent to customers to verify their email address and set the password to their account

  • Invoice Email: Invoice sent to Guests after each successful purchase

  • Account Email : An Email containing info about how to add more guests etc

Client Invite Email

Use this option to edit verification and Password creation emails to guests

Invoice Email

Use this option to edit the Invoice email send to Guests

Account Email

Your Purchase Emails Are Now Customized

Once you've edited and saved your email templates, all future WiFi purchases will send customized invoice and account emails reflecting your branding and messaging. Guests will receive professional, branded communications that reinforce their connection to your business.

What to do next:

  • Send a test purchase to yourself to review how emails appear to guests

  • Ensure invoice emails include all necessary transaction details and tax information

  • Update account emails with helpful information about adding devices or extending access

  • Keep invoice emails clear and professional with transaction details prominent

  • Use account emails to provide helpful instructions for common guest needs

  • Include your business contact information for support questions

  • Test email rendering on mobile devices as most guests check email on phones

Current limitations:

  • Email templates apply to all sites in your account (no per-site customization yet)

  • Future updates will include site-specific email template options
