Typically, we've used local admin accounts in Spotipo to connect to UniFi controllers, but with the advent of UniFi Fabric, that no longer seems possible. Most of the accounts must have it enabled. This article explains how you can do it.
Before we start, please create a user in your UniFi controller and dedicate it for Spotipo. We recommend using a separate email for this.
Log in to unifi.ui.com and use the "New Admin" option
Use a dedicated email in the next step and choose the sites you want to connect with Spotipo. You can change the sites later as well.
Then choose the following permissions and add the user. You will get an invite on your email. Click on it and setup a new UniFi account.
After that, navigate to https://account.ui.com/ and scroll down to the Account Security tab, click on add MFA and choose App Authentication.
You will see a QR code; scan it with the app of your choice, then click "Enter code manually" and copy the code somewhere.
You will need this code when you are setting up Spotipo.
Then proceed with MAC setup by pressing Continue; it will ask you to enter a code from your authenticator app.
Once that's done, make sure that the authenticator app you just set up is marked as the primary.
Use the Authentication code you have saved in Step4 of Spotipo wizard
