Sub accounts allow owners of the site to create new users on their site to allow for easier management of the location. These users can be either administrators, or you can limit their access to only specific sites and to specific parts of the site. For example, you can allow some users access to only the Guest tab, so that they can review guest logins, but not have access to configuration settings, etc.
In this guide we will explain both how to create administrators with access to all the sites controlled by the owner account as well as how to create non-admin users with limited access to only one site.
Creating additional admins
To create administrators for all sites, you would need to be the owner of the account. Then, you can create new accounts by going into the Account settings in the bottom left corner.
Once there, all you have to do is go to Users and add a new user there.
There you can create either an Admin or the Client type of user, but these users will have access to all sites that your owner has running on this account.
Once you're done, simply click on the Save button and the new admin should be created.
Create sub accounts for only a single site
If you however wish to give users permissions only for a single location. For example, you're an MSP and have multiple customers, but one of them requested access to their Spotipo dashboard. In that case, you can create Sub accounts directly on that specific site.
All you have to do is open that location in the bottom left corner of the site. From there, navigate to the Settings->Subaccounts menu and create a new account there.
First you need to create a user by entering all the needed details.
Then once the user is created, simply Edit the permissions to suit your needs. They can be either Read, Read/Write or simply No Access depending on what you'd like your users to have access to.
Once you Save the changes, the account should be created and users should get access to everything you've allowed them to set up immediately.
