The default country code on your splash page phone field determines which international dialing prefix appears when guests enter their phone number. By default, Spotipo uses +44 (United Kingdom), but you can change this to match your business location, ensuring guests see the correct country code for their region and reducing input errors.
This guide shows you how to update the default country code in Spotipo's general settings. The change takes effect immediately and applies to all phone fields on your splash page.

Change the default country code from UK (+44) to your preferred country
Ensure phone fields display the correct dialing prefix for your location

What you'll need:
Active Spotipo account with admin access
Knowledge of your country's international dialing code
Why this matters: Guests are more likely to enter phone numbers correctly when the default country code matches their location. Incorrect country codes lead to validation errors, failed SMS delivery, and lower conversion rates.
In Spotipo our default country code is set to UK, ie +44, so the phone field on the splash page will be rended like this.
However, this can be changed, to do that, please navigate to Settings -> General
Change the Country to the one you want and press Save Settings.
The landing page should reflect the new value.
Your Default Country Code Is Now Updated
Once you've changed the country setting and saved, your splash page phone field will display the new country code by default. Guests can still manually change the country if needed, but most will use the default setting.
