This guide walks you through retrieving your Twilio credentials, purchasing a phone number for sender ID, and configuring the gateway in Spotipo.
What you'll accomplish:
Retrieve Account SID and Auth Token from Twilio dashboard
Purchase or identify a Twilio phone number as sender ID
Configure Twilio gateway credentials in Spotipo
Test SMS delivery to verify configuration
What you'll need:
Active Twilio account with billing configured
At least one purchased Twilio phone number (required for sending SMS)
Spotipo account with admin access
Phone number for testing SMS delivery
Get Twilio credentials
First login to your Twilio Dashboard to retrieve Account SID and Auth Token
Next get a valid sender ID. Note: You will need to purchase at least one Phone number from Twilio to be able to send SMS.
Go to the Phone numbers tab on the left and take one of your purchased number as sender ID.
Configure Spotipo
You can input these values into Spotipo by logging in the dashboard, and go to Settings-> SMS Gateway.
Select Twilio as SMS gateway and enter the Sender ID, Account SID and Auth Token and save the configuration.
Test the configuration by Clicking on Test and enter a phone number to send a test SMS.

After entering your Account SID, Auth Token, and sender ID (purchased phone number), Spotipo can send SMS messages through Twilio. Test the configuration by sending a test SMS to verify delivery before enabling phone-based authentication.
