Currently, Spotipo only supports Stripe as a payment gateway.
Why Aren't Google and Apple Pay Supported
We often get asked about adding these payment options, but technical limitations prevent them from working with captive portals.
Devices rely on unauthenticated access to specific Apple and Google domains to detect Wi-Fi networks and launch the captive portal pop-up automatically. Whitelisting these domains to process payments would bypass the portal detection mechanism entirely, preventing the login screen from appearing. Effectively blocking users from accessing the network.
Can I request a different payment gateway?
While Stripe is currently our only built-in gateway, we offer sponsored development for custom integrations. For an additional fee, our engineering team can build support for your preferred payment gateway.
