Multi-site vouchers allow your customers to use the same voucher code across multiple locations you own. This ensures a smoother customer experience if they frequent multiple of your locations in a short time period. And it allows allows you for easier administration of vouchers themselves.
How to create multi-site vouchers
To create multi-site vouchers, you first need to add a feature onto the splash page. To do that, navigate to Splash page, select the Settings icon and make sure that Multi-Site voucher login method is selected.
Once you've updated the site, you can navigate to the "Multi Site Vouchers" section on the left side menu. There, you can use the "Add voucher" button to create one voucher, or a whole batch of them.
Now that you are briefed into how vouchers work, here are some general Frequently asked questions from other users.
When does a voucher become active? - Vouchers start to be treated as "In Use" across all sites, as soon as the code is entered into the captive portal. Prior to that, they are considered unused
Does different hardware matter in voucher activation? - No, multi site vouchers work seamlessly no matter what hardware is found on the location. One site can use UniFi and the other Mikrotik for example, and everything will work without any issues.
What happens when voucher expires? - Once vouchers expire, users will be kicked out from network and prompted to enter a new voucher code. If they can't provide one, they won't be able to log in again into any of the sites that voucher was working at. Voucher will be immediately marked as "Expired" on Spotipo portal.
