MAC address whitelist feature allows a site admin to add devices without a built in browser to access the network by bypassing the captive portal.
However, Spotipo currently doesn't support all hardware types with this feature. This is mostly due to hardware not being able to support this feature itself.
Currently, the following brands have this feature supported in Spotipo:
UniFi - Fully supported
Cambium - Fully supported
Draytek - Fully supported
Miktrotik - Fully supported
Ruckus - Currently only Smartzone product line is supported
