Spotipo offers a lot of customization when it comes to user experience. One of the most important features is the ability to redirect users to a custom webpage once they log into your WiFi. By default, the redirect is set to google.com. In this article, we will show you how to change this yourselves.
Find the option in settings
Process for changing the redirect URL is very simple. All you have to do is find the option in your settings and change the URL. The option can be found under
Settings->General->Redirect
Changing the URL
Once you found the option, all you have to do is change the URL from https://google.com/ to that of the website you'd like users to see once they log in to your WiFi (in this example we'll be using https://example.com/).
Once URL is saved, make sure to press Save Settings button as well.
Test things out
To make sure that everything is set up correctly without opening the actual portal, there is a demo page, from which you can test things out. It can be found under
Splash Page -> View Demo
From there, you'll get a simulated process of the captive portal's behavior, which will enable you to test the changes out.
