When configuring Spotipo Cloud with your WiFi router, you may need to whitelist specific IP addresses in your firewall to allow communication between your controller and Spotipo's servers. This is required for routers with strict firewall rules, particularly UniFi controllers, MikroTik devices, and enterprise-grade access points.
Without these IP addresses whitelisted, your captive portal may fail to load, guest authentication requests won't reach Spotipo's servers, and your controller status may show as "Not Reachable" in your Spotipo dashboard.
When you need these IP addresses:
Initial Spotipo setup with UniFi, MikroTik, Cisco, or other enterprise routers
Troubleshooting captive portal connection failures
After updating firewall rules or security policies
When moving controllers to new networks or IP addresses
Below are the current Spotipo Cloud server IP addresses required for proper operation.
Following are the IP addresses used by Spotipo Cloud for connecting to Unifi controllers. Please whitelist them in your firewall if applicable.
107.178.247.148 35.244.104.229 35.236.87.84 104.155.46.61
Verify Your Configuration
After whitelisting these IP addresses, verify your setup by checking your controller status in Spotipo:
Log in to your Spotipo dashboard
Go to Settings β [Your Router Type] Controller
Check that the status shows Online
If the status is "Not Reachable" or "Offline" after whitelisting, the issue may be elsewhere:
DDNS not updating: If using dynamic DNS, check your DDNS configuration
Reverse tunnel inactive: For reverse tunnel setups, verify tunnel status
Port forwarding issues: Ensure required ports are open (typically 8443 for UniFi)
Testing your captive portal: Connect a device to your guest WiFi network. The Spotipo splash page should appear within 3-5 seconds. If it doesn't appear, see our captive portal troubleshooting guide.
Do these IP addresses change? Spotipo maintains these static IP addresses for server stability. If we ever need to add or change IPs, we'll notify all customers via email and update this article. Bookmark this page for future reference.
